Project Description

On 7th July 2025, the Rotary Club of Patan Durbar Square successfully distributed five wheelchairs to children with Cerebral Palsy in Koshi Province. These children come from economically disadvantaged backgrounds, where access to mobility aids is often out of reach.
This impactful initiative was coordinated by Club President 2025-26 Rtn. Dr. Pragya Karmacharya Rajbhandari, with support from the Rotary Club of Kathmandu Metro. The wheelchair distribution aims to improve the mobility and quality of life for these children, enabling greater independence and inclusion.
Past Presidents Rtn. Chandra Krishna Shrestha and Rtn. Narendra Shrestha, along with members from Karuna Foundation, also joined the event to show their solidarity and support.
We are proud to contribute to making mobility more accessible for children in need and remain committed to creating a more inclusive and compassionate society.
