The rescued individuals are:
Mo. Aziz Mia, 16, from Daknashwari Municipality–3, Saptari
Jyoti Kumari Mukhia, 15, from Sambhunath Municipality–9, Saptari
Nimesh Maji, 14, from Chandrapur–2, Rautahat
Vishnu Sada, 14, from Kelpur–1, Dhanusha
Suraj Sada, 10, from Kelpur–1, Dhanusha
Bachan Kumar Sada, 11, from Manraja–5, Saptari
Sangeeta Kumari Jaiswal, 33, from Kalaiya–14, Bara
They were found in situations involving begging, labor exploitation, and abduction. The rescue was carried out under the leadership of Kin India in Delhi, with support from the Indian police and the Nepalese embassy, and they were safely returned to Nepal. Following the rescue, the individuals were placed under the care of their relatives, as informed by Naveen Joshi, Director of Kin India. According to him, Madhesh Province accounts for the highest number of people lured into labor exploitation and trafficking in India.
The rescue operation was supported continuously by Kin India, along with Shubha Awasar Gram Nepal, Awar Sansar, Rotary Club of Patan Durbar Square, and Rotary Club of Baneshwor, as confirmed by Kin India’s Global Brand Ambassador, H.Member Rtn.
